Well...I did promise this one would be a weekly 4-parter...and the final part should be up on the 1st. So I will have managed to put all 4 parts out weekly!

#250 for that matter should air on the 15th.

So who was complaining about 9/11 commments? I don't think it was me. Was it Tim? Was it Keith Knudsen??

I'd have to go back and re-read the comments on episode 22 to be sure, but I just can't be bothered.

Charles said,

"Um....Stunning. Absolutely.....I'm totally speachless. I was sure that Starhawk was gonna walk out. Man, I wish I had been in the room with you....*shakes his head, stunned into submission*"

And Lohkee said,

"dude tcm is a bit of a dick regarding 9/11"

I wonder if they ever came back after that.

I'm ridiculous. I was reading comments from a 2013 episode of Podcast X. No wonder it didn't feel right.

Charles came right back in the comments thread for episode 23, but we never heard from Lohkee again.

Like I would know how to contact TCM? or get information on his condition? The only one of the co-hosts I was able to contact before was Vixen and she took awhile to answer.

Is there a contingency plan in case something happens?

You've been on the podcast as a co-host most often these days, so I thought you would know. I found him before you replied anyway, so you're useless! :)

If anything happens, I guess someone will comment on this site.

No contingency plan. Hopefully, I won't just drop dead.

Maybe you'll die standing up, like in Fist of the North Star.

That was a terrible anime.

It's very Manly! Did you watch the movie or the TV series?

I've actively tried to forget whatever it was that I did watch.

If it was porn, I'd request you to review it on Podcast XXX.

There are a lot of giant dudes in hentai, but they're usually not main characters.

The only giant dudes in anime at all are I know about are in "Attack on Titan", which I don't even watch.

Those are very giant, and they don't even know karate. Or, the majority of them don't.

You could watch Attack on Titan, watch people getting eaten and commiting suicide. It's all over the place, even on TV.

On TV though, I'd have to watch it on Cartoon Network, which means censorship.

September 07, 2014 2:52 PM

I don't know if it's censored. I don't think there's much to censor in it. It is violent and bloody.

I'm watching a couple new anime that are terribly censored, because people get cut in half and decapitated. Shame.

Anyway, it's all over the internet, but only the English dub is on TV.

One of the best Fist of the North Star parodies, but awful dubbing of Project A-ko.

I like Project A-ko! I don't know about A-ko being the daughter of Superman like they implied at the end, though...

Never thought it was Superman, just a alternate universe Superman-type like Hyperion or Supreme or Herbert Chavez. If you look closely it's not an "S" logo but a "C", so maybe it is Chavez.

That just reminds me...why isn't Superman married to Lois anymore? DC expects us to just forget that they ever did that in the first place!

Why? Because he wants strong thighs wrapped around his ass, that's why.

September 15, 2014 9:19 PM

Is that a reference to the Superman/Wonder Woman thing going on that I'm totally ignoring?

September 16, 2014 12:54 PM

I don't know if WW's literally had her thighs wrapped around Supes, but, yes, I'm referring to that couple.

I thought the reason Superman and Wonder Woman never hooked up in most of the pre-52 timelines is because Wonder Woman was into S&M and Superman was more of a missionary and maybe doggie style cause that's how the animals did it on the farm, kind of guy.

Is Wonder Woman 52 into S&M?

I hate all the post-"New 52" DC stuff. The only ongoing DC books I even read anymore are Astro City and ironically, Azzarello's Wonder Woman (at least until the bitch who's never written a comic book takes over the series).

Have you read Earth-2, or any of this stuff taking place outside of the main universe?

At least Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are coming back.

Nah. I'm glad they're (sort of) bringing back Blue Beetle, though.

Hey, Trenchcoat! You probably didn't see the S2 premiere of Agents of SHIELD, but I request that you, at the very least, read an article or Wiki of it. You will at least get a mild chuckle out of it.

I skimmed the episode synopsis on epguides.com. Apparently they had the old Hulk villain Crusher Creel in
the episode, but they couldn't/wouldn't even use his super-villain moniker "Absorbing Man".

September 26, 2014 4:04 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

That's 1/2 correct. Xena herself dubs him "Absorbing Man" There's not a lot of time to call him anything. As can be expected, he fucks up A LOT of people. I'm glad they have a villain who can just wreck SHIELD without breaking a sweat. How the hell are they even going to take him out? They need a Hulk movie to resolve this!

Absorbing Man is an interesting character, because he's one of those characters whose potential power is off the charts. He can absorb Thor's hammer, right? He can also absorb adamantium or vibranium.

Now that they have a new Hulk actor we all accept in the role, why are they not making a new Hulk movie?

Maybe this time, Marvel can get it right, as opposed to the last two times.

I think they don't know what to do with the character. They're just sitting on it. Del Toro was rumored to be doing a TV show of it, Hulk (Lou Ferrigno) said there would be a movie, but nothing. I think they're just concerned with their phase 3, then they might do Hulk.

The only secret title they revealed is Doc Strange.
