If there's one thing I've learned, it's that Xantesfire is incompatible with Windows 8.

Speaking of Xantesfire, were you talking about "toepix" or "topix"?

Green Goblin didn't kill Gwen Stacy. He attempted to kill her. Spider-man is the one who did her in. Who knows whether she would've survived? People have survived by some freak luck all the time.

You want Kevin Sorbo as the lead of your religious movie because he's uninvited to be part of any Hercules movies.

Xena was great lesbianism.

I forget most of this review, let alone the whole "topix" thing. The comic was just that fucking bad...

You're right - Spider-Man snapped Gwen's neck while he was trying to save her. Either way, Norman's still an asshole for trying to kill her.

And now it's gotten so bad, we're supposed to accept "The Rock" as Hercules.

There should've been at least one graphic sex scene between Xena and her "special friend" Gabrielle.

I'm starting to give into Derek Coward's belief that Spider-man is a failure at everything.

So you're strongly in the Kevin Sorbo camp now? The Rock has enough beard hair and muscle definition to be Hercules, at least. You saw the trailer, right?

Maybe there was a sex scene somewhere in that horrible Xena video game

The worst thing Spider-Man ever did was marry Mary Jane Watson, even though Quesada went to great lengths to retcon that out of continuity.

I saw the Hercules trailer, and was unimpressed.

The only video game I was any good at was "Frogger".

There wasn't? Xena

That's why I've stopped reading Spider-Man, and most comics, good things can't happen and stay in their lives. Especially Spider-Man. Imagine if there was a real Spider-man in New York, he would be a big time celebrity, New York City's mascot and probably been forced to take on a position with the NYC police.

Charles Schultz wiki confirms he did do lettering on Topix.

So the laundry turned out okay?

Oh Topix, as in topics.

That's why, for a short time, we had a Superior Spider-man, who got things done.

I'll just say it because no one else will: Lucy Lawless looks like a fucking dude.

I wouldn't put it past Marvel to go ahead and just make Spider-Man a cop; after all, they already ruined his marriage.

Yeah, the laundry turned out just fine and more importantly, I kept all the things you said while I was away in the show because they were funny.

I want to fuck dudes, then.

They were funny.

Isn't Lucy Lawless' career finally over?

And Superior was a bad comic bad because Otto Octavius is a super-villain.

No, she was on the new Battlestar, some stuff that I haven't watched, and now she'll be on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next season.

All the more reason for me not to watch that show.

It actually pulled off a good later half of the season. All it took was an entire blockbuster film for that to happen.

They waited too long to introduce Deathlok, though. (I only know they've added him to the show in the first place because I've read it online.)

Don't worry. I will never accuse you of watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Speaking of hearing of things, have you heard anything about this 9/11 anime?

At least a 9/11 anime has the potential to be epically tasteless.

Speaking of tasteless, where's that iZombie series the CW promised us?!

iZombie's still coming. No delays or anything. I'll watch one episode of that, because I have no idea if that comic was good or anything.

Anyway, here's Terror in Resonance

Nah, because Lucy Lawless is considered geek friendly she'll have a long career in what's considered geek even if she wasn't good. Like the Grew who's been in Warehouse 13, video games, etc.

Where's the info on 9/11 anime? all I can find is this trailer on a 9/11 short movie.

vichus:

I assume the iZombie comic was good; mind you, I only read the free preview in (I think) Y - The Last Man and the last couple of issues of the book proper.

I watched the latest episode of Terror in Resonance, and it disappointingly had nothing to do with 9/11.

XantesFire:

Damn you for bringing ancient-ass Kate Mulgrew into this!

It's not literally about 9/11, but remember the last minutes of that episode. Now if you watch the second episode, it's basically 9/11 crib notes.

"The Grew" is loved outside of the geek sphere. They're loving her in Orange is the New Black. I neglect my Netflix often, so I haven't watched more than 10 minutes of the show.

People didn't like her in Voyager! If Enterprise didn't come along, she'd be the most hated captain, on the most hated show.

I haven't seen Orange is the New Black, but I don't think I'm missing much.

I actually didn't mind Captain Archer on Enterprise.
